Critical Tolerance
It takes years of accumulated experience and technical instinct
to be able to hold the tightest diameter or wall tolerances
for long runs and complicated profiles.
It also takes a total commitment to quality.
At Extrudex we are constantly striving to reach our quality
objective of zero defects. Production is carefully monitored
throughout all operations by employees rigorously trained
in quality control procedures. Our extrusion experts work
with suppliers to formulate thermoplastic materials that
will outlast and outperform existing materials in specific
applications. We make sure that all materials coming from
our suppliers are certified, insisting on the highest SPC
quality.
And all dies are designed in-house by master craftspeople
who understand that exceptional dies result in exceptional
products.
This dedication to precision is readily apparent in all
of our products, but mostly in specialized profile extrusions
such as:
- Dual durometer extrusions where there is no warping despite
different material rigidities.
Heavy- and thin-wall tubular extrusions where we maintain
consistent wall tolerances in many materials, including
clear vinyl.
- Co-extrusions where we precisely combine two colors
or types of plastic.
Monofilament extrusions that remain strong yet flexible.
As an additional service to customers, we offer secondary
operations including splicing, heat sealing, punching and
drilling, light assembly and chamfering. We also offer special
capabilities in the application of pressure sensitive tape.
Partnership in Planning, Prototyping, Production
Machines make the product, but experienced designers and
operators make it exceptional. our people have the capability
and dedication to excellence which are necessary to produce
superior products on a consistent basis.
These are talented professionals. They have built a reputation
for effective problem-solving through innovative thinking
and manufacturing quality. The process of excellence begins
with them.
We pride ourselves on our ability to work closely with customers
from rough sketches to detailed plans to finished products.
This includes cutting and perfecting dies and producing prototypes
for your own testing, which saves you money in research and
development. It also ensures a better-engineered, more cost-effective
product.
